Luis Beltran has been working with the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years.

“My parents are the ones who told me that the postal service was hiring,” he says.

He took the test and was hired immediately.

While on his everyday route delivering mail and parcels, he says he has been lucky with avoiding big dangerous dogs. But once he got attacked by a small dog.

“The owner insisted that it won’t bite and he opens the door – and the first thing it does is jump up in the air and bites me in the arm,” Beltran says.
