Western McCowsky takes his job seriously. In some bullfighting countries, rodeo clowns distract bulls and the audience while a rider tries to keep his seat. But in the American game, it’s all business.

“I’m just hired to fight bulls,” says McCowsky.

The job gets harder, too.

“We fight the bulls weekend in, weekend out and they get smart,” he says.
