There’s been a lot of discussion these days about jobs – particularly, where they’re going. A presidential candidate or two pointed to Mexico and China, but in actual fact, a lot of jobs might be going the way of the dodo bird.

Omar Gallaga of the Austin-American Statesman’s 512 Tech says something like 22.5 million jobs could be displaced by automation and robots by 2025.

“But that doesn’t mean that there will be that many fewer jobs, it just means that they will evolve and change into other kinds of jobs,” Gallaga says.

What you’ll hear in this segment:

– Which jobs technology might make obsolete (Hint: banking is a big one)

– How soon we could see self-driving semi-trucks on the highway

– Which jobs are still safe
