A new technology called the MasSpec Pen could make diagnosing cancerous tissue and determining treatment for patients faster and easier.

Diagnosing cancerous tissue may get much easier with a new technology called the MasSpec Pen.

Professor Livia Eberlin of the University of Texas at Austin, who led the team that developed the MasSpec Pen, hopes that the technology will assist in distinguishing cancerous tissue from healthy tissue.
