A website says the widely distributed photo of a mom and two kids who seem to be running from teargas in the Mexican border town of Tijuana is not what it appears. Is that a fact? Gardner Selby of the PolitiFact Texas fact-checking team has the answer.

David Harris, Jr., who describes himself as “a no-nonsense entrepreneur,” wrote in a post on his own website, davidharrisjr.com, that the photo was staged. He says that other immigrants in the photo posed as they ran, and that other cameras can be seen in the photo.

Hear how Harris’ claim scored in the player above.
