A new study looks at the long-term forecast for Texas’ seven major metro areas.

Economic and Financial analysis firm The Perryman Group has four decades worth of economic forecast knowledge. The group has recently released a new long-term economic forecast for Texas’ top metro centers, covering the places where more than 70 percent of the state lives and works.

Ray Perryman is president and CEO of The Waco-based group. He says his report has added a new metropolitan area to the study – the McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area, which has passed El Paso in size.
