Will the Drought in Texas Get as Bad as California’s?

The historic drought plaguing California, has policy makers, environmentalists, farmers, business folks – all locked in some pretty bitter debates on how best to solve this water crisis. But what about the water crisis right here in Texas?

As California, and its editorial writers, wring their hands about a mass exodus or something similarly cataclysmic, the question here in our own drought plighted state is quite obvious: could it happen here? According to data supplied by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), one in three Texans is currently affected by this drought.
