A Thousand Volunteers In North Texas Mark September 11 With A Day Of Service

Each year on the anniversary of the terror attacks, volunteers give back on what is now called Freedom Day.

For the 17th straight year, the Communities Foundation of Texas mobilized volunteers across north Texas, hoping to commemorate the September 11 terror attacks with hard work and compassion.

In total, they tackled 27 service projects across the region.
