Apple is well-known for its glitzy product announcement events. This week, the company tried a new approach.
Instead of rolling out its latest crop of Mac computers in one big live event or video, the company spread a product launch over several days. Tech expert Omar Gallaga says the most interesting announcement this week has been the very small Mac Mini.
Highlights from this segment:
– All three new Mac offerings feature Apple’s own M4 chip, which is both faster for standard computing tasks, and capable of handling the company’s new AI offerings.
– The Mac Mini models are 5 x 5 inches and feature both the M4 chip and larger amounts of memory than previous models.
– Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI software, rolled out this week on iPhones, as well as the macOS operating system used by these new computers.
