Friday at 1 a.m. a novice white Arlington police officer fatally shot Christian Taylor, a 19-year-old black football player from San Angelo, after the student had broken into a car dealership in the Dallas suburb.

Tuesday’s show we spoke to Jerry Staton, a retired officer turned private sector law enforcement professional trainer about the Arlington case and similar police killings of unarmed black young men.
