Federal funding sparks geothermal development

This is the design of a geothermal system drafted by the city of Ann Arbor, Mich. for its Bryant neighborhood. Ann Arbor was awarded $10 million by the federal government to build and operate a community geothermal system to provide heating and cooling to 262 homes, a local elementary school and community center. But funding for the project has been put on hold by the Trump administration.
