Did Donald Trump Bring A New Apple Plant In Austin?

After visiting Austin last week, President Donald Trump tweeted that he had opened an Apple facility there. He wrote: “Today I opened a major Apple manufacturing plant in Texas that will bring hundreds of high-paying jobs back to America.” Is that a fact? Madlin Mekelburg of the Politifact Texas fact-checking team has the answer.

Trump toured an Apple facility with CEO Tim Cook. The plant assembles the company’s high-end Mac Pro desktop computer. Trump also tweeted that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “closed Congress because the doesn’t care about American workers.”
