Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says that after Texas lawmakers defunded Planned Parenthood, the state’s pregnancy and abortion rates dropped.

“The tweet closed with a link to a LifeNews post by a visiting professor of economics at Florida’s Ave Maria University,” Selby says. “The post said that since 2011, the Texas birth and abortion rates have declined.”
