Art imitates life, and so it should be no surprise that we see a lot of tech on film and TV. But you don’t have to be watching “Blade Runner” or The Matrix” to encounter hackers, drones, smart cars, robots and other techie things on film.
Digital savant Omar Gallaga of the Austin American-Statesman’s 512 Tech still cringes at some of what he sees when tech appears in TV and movies, but he says things have gotten better in recent years.
