Anthony Phillips is a Operator Specialist Senior in Litter Control for Austin Resource Recovery.
Anthony Phillips has been working with Austin Resource Recovery for 13 years. He gets up at 1 a.m. everyday for his job as an Operator Specialist Senior in Litter Control – a street sweeper. He was promoted about 6 months ago.
He says he started off working for the city as a yard trimmer.
“That was a very physical job. It was a good way to stay in shape,” Phillips says.
