Michael Foley is a crossing guard at the Canyon Creek Elementary School. He says that he feels lucky to have this job. “Other than getting the kids across the street safely the other important part of the job is teaching the children safety rules,” Foley says.

Foley greets the children by their name everyday. “It makes them feel important and it puts a smile on their face.”
