Every January, thousands of technology enthusiasts descend on Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show, or CES. They come to see what’s hot, or what might eventually be hot, in gadgets, TVs and even cars. But whether the shiny things on display in the acres of exhibit halls ever become real for the rest of us , the show is always a fun look into the tech future.

Our tech expert, Omar Gallaga says CES is where consumers and industry folks get to “see some of these concepts and ideas turn into actual products that you’ll probably see this year. It’s where the big tech companies, outside of Apple, go.”
