Violinist Emanuel Borok’s life was a pilgrimage – about art, a violin, and a lifelong pursuit of beauty.

For 25 years, Borok was the concertmaster and the lead violinist, of the Dallas Symphony. Some friends called him Manny. But he was usually Emanuel to me, because he had a formal bearing.

Borok’s musical career began when he was a child in Riga, Latvia.
