Here’s What This High School Football Team Did to the Texas Longhorns Logo

In Corinth, Mississippi, they love their football, just like we do in Texas. But the Kossuth High School football team, which made it to the playoffs this year, may have to change their logo. They set the iconic Texas longhorn in maroon. But the team is called the Aggies.

Wescott Eberts, editor of Burnt Orange Nation, says one of their writers from Mississippi noticed the sports sacrilege.

“He noticed that there were a lot of people walking around and they had longhorn logos on their shirts,” he says. “So he started talking to people. And remarkably enough, none of these people really realized why he was interested in this Aggies-Longhorns combination.”
