The Internet of Things might start saving you trips to the grocery store.

Years ago, when people flocked to world fairs to sneak a peek into the future, you might see displays with flying cars, or desktop TV screens where you could order items without ever leaving home.

Well, the future is now – if you want it – with Amazon Dash. It’s basically an “easy” button for instant delivery of your favorite brands.

What do we mean? Well here to answer that is Digital Savant Omar Gallaga of 512Tech, powered by the Austin American-Statesman.

“These devices have gotten so cheap, they are practically disposable,” Gallaga says. “We’re seeing all these things combined, like machine learning and home devices and (the Internet of Things) – all that stuff is sort of coming together.”
