As mobile devices become a bigger part of kids’ lives, the challenge of keeping them safe continues to grow. Bullies, trolls and scammers are out there too, looking for kids – and, by extension, parents – who don’t know where the risks are online.
Digital savant Omar Gallaga of the Austin American-Statesman’s 512 Tech says even services and sites designed for kids are vulnerable, and parents need to keep their guard up when letting their young ones go online.
