Granbury, Texas, sits southwest of Fort Worth and packs a punch when it comes to history and quaintness. Most of the attractions, dining and fun are directly connected to Pearl Street and the “Best Town Square in Texas,” as its voted year after year. The city is surrounded by the Brazos River and Lake Granbury, which gives it a laid-back charm.

You can find tasty food, award-winning wines, boutique shopping and outdoor fun in this little Texas town.

Like Christina’s Boutique Bistro, a place for both shopping and dining. You can find funny signs for your home as well as unique blouses and jewelry. But some of our favorite selections at this cozy café are the strawberry spinach pecan salad, quiche Lorraine, ham & swiss panini and custom cream cheese dips.

Even in the winter months, you can visit Waterside Sports at City Beach to rent a kayak, canoe or stand-up paddle board on a warmer day.

When you’re reading to wind down for the evening, begin with a trip to D-Vine Wine. Owner Diane Hedges can help you with a tasting or help to create your own private label for your bottle of wine. Their Texas Rio Red won Bronze at the San Antonio Wine Festival.

Looking for Italian for dinner? Farina’s Winery & Café serves up some pretty special spinach artichoke dip, Southern Italian chicken marsala and chicken alfredo. Do not leave without dessert!

Throw back at one of the very few Texas’ drive-in theaters still around at the Brazos Drive-In, where you can enjoy a double feature on the weekends for just $20 a vehicle. Snuggle up with a hot date or enjoy family time.
