In an office environment, one person’s cold or illness can seem to spread like wildfire. As employees and businesses start to contemplate going back to work after COVID-19, preventing the spread of illness will likely be top of mind.
So how will work life change? Tech expert Omar Gallaga said there will likely be radical adjustments in light of COVID-19. He told Texas Standard host David Brown on Thursday that the pandemic has forced many companies to reevaluate office layouts and working conditions to prevent the spread of germs.
“It’s causing people to rethink, How do I work? Where do I need to work? And is it feasible to do a lot of the stuff that I do outside of the office?” Gallaga said. “Everything about work is being redefined right now.”
