Southwest Wants Love Field to Give Delta the Boot

Southwest already has 18 of the 20 available gates.

There is an air war going on in Dallas – albeit no dogfights – but it is getting ugly. Southwest has asked a federal court to give its competitor Delta the boot from Love Field by this July. They claim Delta has been trespassing.

For its part, Delta says it has no intention of abandoning the two gates it operates there. What’s this all about? Helping us sort through the feud at Love field is Dallas Morning News reporter Robert Wilonsky.
