Texas Decides is a project from the Texas Newsroom, a collaboration that includes Houston Public Media , KERA in Dallas, KUT in Austin, Texas Public Radio in San Antonio and other NPR member stations across the Lone Star State. The project started as the Texas Station Collaborative in the run-up to the 2016 election. Public radio stations in Texas asked listeners to submit questions related to national, statewide and local politics. After listeners voted on their favorite questions, reporters tackled everything from why Texas is so red to why voter turnout is so low in the state.

Stations teamed up again in 2020 to ask listeners to submit questions about the complicated lawmaking process in Texas. Now, stations from throughout the Lone Star state have joined forces again to tackle the 2020 campaign. So go ahead and ask.
