Bryan Rindfuss, Associate Editor at the San Antonio Current says CineFestival is the place to be this weekend. The event is the longest-running Latino film festival in the U.S. The 37th annual event kicked off on Saturday and continues through this Saturday. You can check out the schedule here.

Folks in Austin are encouraged to check out SHINE ON!.  KUTX live music producer, Peter Babb, says if you’ve never been to a laser light show, this is the one to go to. The performance includes a band of world class musicians playing Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” album. And did we mention lasers?

Craft beer and animal lovers shouldn’t miss the Brew at the Zoo in El Paso. Maggie Asfahani Hajj, Editor for What’s Up Weekly says there will be tastings from 30 breweries and live music. Don’t forget to congratulate Ibu, a Sumatran orangutan whose expecting her first baby this spring.
