they say a cold front is coming
billowing clouds
to fill the sky
rain to fill our yards
they say the temp will drop
twenty degrees
an Arctic plummet
from tonight
to tomorrow
they say it
so it must be true
it must be time
to find your shoes
prep for a cool evening walk
maybe find a sweater
because 99 degrees
on a cloudy eveinng
