It’s been a cold and occasionally snowy winter in the Lone Star State and we’re all eager to go back outdoors.
How Long Until Spring?
winter break has come and gone
spring’s is far away
these are the weeks that stretch and grind
day after endless day
some implanted magnet
down inside your desk
draws your head down, constantly
all you want’s to rest
but education marches on
it is sad but true
conveyed by weary teachers
just as tired as you
by the time the bell rings
at the end of the day
all are drained, the students
much too tired to play
even a little bit
of their favorite
videogame…
(well maybe just a little)
