Many folks assume all Texans ride horses – and sure, some of us do. But a special kind of horse, the two-wheeled breed, is much more common on the streets around here.
“My Bicycle is My Horse”
Saddle up
Roll out
Trot on into town
With my trusty steed beside me,
I can always get around
Not the easiest to maneuver
Down the crowded city streets
But get me out on the trail
And my transit can’t be beat
A little bit of tuning up
These hooves are raring to gallop
And a comfy saddle and well-oiled reins
Really pack a wallop
Wind in my hair,
wind through her mane,
No where we can’t go
And the bike shop tweaked my brakes
So she stops when I call “Woah!”
You can keep your Maserati,
I’m quite happy with my two-wheeled horse
No fuel or clean up required
Just my mighty muscled force
