especially when good coffee
is critical
mexico seems very relaxing
when there’s no blue water in sight
so why not
why not take off
flee the scene
cross the border
never come back?
why not?
because you life HERE
this is your home
and maybe somedays home
feels foreign
and foreign places
feel more welcoming
but in your heart you know
home is here
it’s in your blood
it makes you…you
and you can only hope
by staying here
by staying home
you are part of everything else, too
