Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently said that there were more voting machines for Republicans than Democrats in Texas on Super Tuesday, and as a result, some voters had to wait as much as seven hours to cast a ballot.

Is that a fact? Madlin Mekelburg of the PolitiFact Texas fact-checking team has the answer.

In an appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” the day after Super Tuesday Clinton said:

“It is so wrong what is being done to try and purge people from voting lists, not let them register, or, as we saw in places yesterday, particularly in Texas, the Republican side gets 25 machines, the Democratic side gets five machines. People were literally standing in line for seven hours.”
