It all happened on Instagram, which some have dubbed the “younger, cooler” Facebook. And a lot of its fans feel like Instagram is a more benign presence online than Facebook. Is that true, and why is Instagram winning at social media right now?
“The tone on Instagram is very different from, say Facebook or Twitter,” Gallaga says. “You don’t see people getting into political arguments on Instagram. You don’t see people trolling as much on Instagram.”
