Thrill seekers should head towards the Alamo City. Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio will be launching its new 4D roller coaster, Batman. MySA.com‘s Tyler White says this is your chance to see what it’s like to fly like the Dark Knight.

Classical music lovers won’t want to miss the final weekend of the Soluna Festival at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Alex Bentley from CultureMap Dallas says on Friday and Saturday, the Symphony will take on Gustav Mahler’s colossal and sweeping third symphony. On Sunday, the festival will celebrate Memorial Day with a Salute to the Armed Forces, featuring a program of patriotic favorites played outdoors at Klyde Warren Park.

The town of Sweetwater will be hosting a homecoming for female WWII Veterans known as WASPs: Women Airforce Service Pilots. Richard Ferguson at KXOX radio says the The National WASP WWII Museum will offer free admission, a vintage airplane show and live music. Plus, you can get to know, and hear, first hand stories from the women pilots themselves.
