Phoebe Hunt has been an Austinite since she was six. Originally from Puerto Rico, she now uses the Capital City as a base for her musical career.

Known for her sultry voice and genre-defying fiddle, Phoebe Hunt travels all over, playing Americana and folk music and hardly ever staying in one place for too long.

“I get to stay in a little house in Manchaca, down in south of Austin” Hunt says, “with a family I’ve known forever that lets me keep a little attic nook in their place.”

Hunt recorded her EP in LA and spent the past year in Nashville working with other Americana artists like Ben Sollee, a cellist from Kentucky.

“I’m pretty lucky I get to travel all over,” she says, “but still call Texas home.”
