A Starlink satellite apparently broke up recently. And it’s not the first time. SpaceX, which runs Starlink, said the incident happened Sunday, some 560 kilometers above the Earth.
Space is becoming more crowded than ever, with satellites from several companies and nations around the world vying for spots in orbit, and spacecraft like NASA’s Artemis moon mission joining the traffic jam. SpaceX also faces a different kind of scrutiny, this time from investors,, after filing for the largest IPO ever. The company hope to raise up to $75 billion.
