Apple rolled out a slate of new products this week, led by the MacBook Neo, a $599 laptop. Other announcements included a new iPhone and faster iPads and MacBooks.

Tech expert Omar Gallaga says a device like the Neo has been rumored for some time.

Highlights from this segment:

– The lower-cost MacBook Neo has a 13-inch screen and comes with an iPad-style keyboard.

– Apple updated its current MacBook lineup with faster M5 chips.

– The iPhone 17e, also priced at $599, is an update to last year’s mid-priced iPhone 16e, but with more storage and with MagSafe charging, which the older phone didn’t provide.
