Canadian rapper Drake’s upcoming shows, including five in Texas, will include all kinds of non-traditional technology. At various points during the show, 88 miniature drones will hover above the audience, a car will levitate and the stage will turn into an iPhone screen.
Omar Gallaga, of the Austin-American Statesman’s 512 Tech says Drake’s upcoming performances in Dallas and Houston reflect larger trends in live performance, as acts incorporate more high tech.
