Apple this week unveiled new products, ranging from a high-end Mac computer, to an update of its lowest-priced iPhone model that financial experts already predict will be a big seller.

Tech expert Omar Gallaga says the new Mac also comes with a new high-powered processor – designed by Apple itself.

Highlights from this segment include:

– The transition from Intel processors to Apple’s own M1 chips began two years ago. The latest Macs now include a high-performance version, the M1 Ultra, that is among the fastest chips currently available.

– Mac Studio is a small, square box that does not include a display, offers a number of expansion ports, and – in high-end configurations – uses the new M1 Ultra chip architecture. Mac Studio starts at $2,000 and is intended for creative professionals.

– A new 27-inch display costs $1,500 and is intended to appeal to the same creatives Apple is targeting with the Mac Studio.

– The third generation of the iPhone SE uses the same processor found in higher-end iPhones, but comes with a 4.7-inch display. Its starting price of $429 has analysts predicting it will be a big seller for the company.
