With temperatures dipping below freezing this week, some as low as -2 F, Texans are finding out that they’re missing a few cold-weather necessities. Digital savant Omar Gallaga of the Austin American-Statesman’s 512 Tech says an ice scraper is a cold weather must-have that many Texans don’t routinely have on hand.
“Unless you’re using the tip of a longhorn, you need something.” Gallaga says. He recommends a couple of high-tech, reasonably priced options, along with a few other helpful tools for the few days of frigid weather we get in the Lone Star State.
