The sounds of Texas.

Christine Cantella is a South Texan living in London during the pandemic. She went there for a job, but that job was paused when the pandemic hit. She could have returned to Texas, but didn't know how long the lockdown would last, so she stayed. She says flying back and forth could risk her health and that of her family. Plus, she wanted to avoid the stress of all that goes along with air travel these days.

“It’s just such a strange time right now because nobody really knows 100% one way or the other what’s safe to do.”
“Being in London is fantastic because it is a city and I don’t feel far away from all of the conveniences. But, I’ll tell you what, it’s nothing like being in Fulton [Texas], being able to just walk a block or so to the sea and just look at the ocean.”
“Right now I would probably be spraying my yard for mosquitoes, putting up the hammocks and trying to grow some kind of a garden.”
