The Benefits of Cheese
Triangles of brie,
squares of cheddar,
circled chevre.
Tiny flakes of parmesan,
melted mozzarella bread.
Messy spicy queso,
mounds of goat cheese on your greens.
Sometimes I get that craving
and just want
cheese
cheese
cheese!
But then it gives me nightmares,
makes my stomach twist and ache.
Stains my favorite jeans
I have to clean my microwave.
So you may ask, with all these cons,
what are the benefits of cheese?
well, there’s the taste
and all the shapes.
Unwrap me one more cheese stick, please?
