just beyond the doubts

just behind the ideas

of what it should

or should not be about

just next to the fear of being seen

around the hope of being seen

adjacent to the misguided belief

that only perfection has meaning

you’ve already got it

the verse is already yours

forgive yourself first

then write the messy words
