Republican state Sen. Brandon Creighton says that Texas has removed the most Confederate monuments of any state in the nation.
Creighton made this claim on the Senate floor while lawmakers were debating a bill that he put forward to would make it harder for local governments and agencies to remove monuments with historical ties, including ties to the Confederacy.
