Election Results: In Dallas Mayor’s Race, Eric Johnson Defeats Scott Griggs

Johnson was endorsed by outgoing Dallas mayor, Mike Rawlings, along with several city council members.

Eric Johnson, a Texas state representative, will be the next mayor of Dallas.

Johnson defeated City Council member Scott Griggs. Johnson had a commanding lead throughout Saturday night, winning with 56% of the vote.
